A fantastic offer from the Alhama de Murcia Town hall for residents to have a days skiing or snowboarding in Sierra Nevada.

Following a similar scheme in recent years the Town Hall of Alhama de Murcia is offering local residents the chance to ski in the Sierra Nevada for just 65 euros! These trips have proved very popular in the past and you are advised to act quickly to take up this Sierra Nevada ski offer for Alhama de Murcia residents which takes place on Sunday 28th January.

All of the pistes in Sierra Nevada, which is located in the province of Granada, are now open for the first time this winder following recent heavy snow fall. The trip is open to anyone aged between 16 and 65 although under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.

This Town Hall offer is a fully inclusive trip, the price of 65 euros includes the coach transfer, a ski lift pass, equipment hire, two hours of skiing or snowboarding classes and insurance. This offer also entitles you to discounts in restaurants and bars for the day while you visit. For those who do not require classes or material offered then you can travel for 55 euros, or doing without one of these two options costs 60 euros.

I’m sure skiers and snowboarders out there will agree this is a fantastic offer at a very reasonable price!

If you do not ski or snowboard but still want to visit the mountains, the 15th highest ski resort in Europe, then you can have the return coach trip for just 10 euros.

The coach will leave from the fairground of Alhama de Murcia at 3.45am in the morning and the estimated return time is 9.30pm. Reservations can be made at the Concejalia de Juventud (Espacio Joven, Casa de la Cultural), by email at juventud@alhamademurcia.es, or by telephone on 968 631985.
