Local news sources have reported that a man has been fined for refusing to turn off loud music being played in the front garden of a property at Condado de Alhama. The incident happened in the early hours of the morning on 12th September following a call to police by onsite security.
The resident was fined a total of 701 euros, including 100 euros for disrespecting the police after refusing to lower the volume and being abusive to police in attendance. When asked to provide identification paperwork he refused, saying “why? because you say it? I do not want to.“
Police verified that his tone was confrontational and a denuncia was issued after refusing to turn down the volume and produce identification. The case was concluded by the court issuing fines.
