La Caverna Restaurante Braseria

If you are looking for a slightly more unusual dining experience that’s within a short drive of your apartment at Condado de Alhama then you should consider booking a meal at La Caverna Restaurante Braseria.

La Caverna is a cave themed restaurant, complete with rock paintings and other earthly decor, serving a selection of grilled meats, fresh local vegetables and salads.

As you approach La Caverna it is very noticeably different from other surrounding buildings.

Whereas neighboring properties in the village are typical old Spanish rural properties of various ages and states of disrepair La Caverna stands out from the crowd with its ‘Disney like’ appearance.

The outside is clad in a faux rock to give the restaurant an authentic cave like appearance  and as you would expect the interior is themed in the same way complete with cave paintings on the walls!

It’s just like stepping inside a prehistoric natural cave except you are entering a fully equipped modern restaurant where you can expect to dine on finely grilled meats washed down with a selection wines from the neighboring Jumilla region.

Getting to La Caverna

La Caverna is situated in the village of Los Ventorrillos, Alhama de Murcia.

Free pick up and drop off to and from Condado de Alhama is available, leaving at approximately 19.30pm and returning at 23.00. Call 0034 639 633 779 to book.

If you would like to drive yourself the journey takes approximately 20 minutes using the following instructions;

• Leave Condado de Alhama and join the RM-23 motorway going towards Alhama de Murcia, follow the motorway for approximately 4.8km until you reach the large roundabout.
• Ignore the first service road and take the second exit signposted RM-603 El Palmar – you will see another roundabout just a few hundred meters from this exit and you should again ignore the service road and take the first exit straight ahead (sign posted RM-603 El Palmar).
• Continue straight along the RM-603 for approximately 10.8 Km until you enter the village of Los Ventorrillos (sign posted).
• La Caverna is situated a few hundred meters into the village on the right at the junction with the RM-603 and the first turning right called ‘Camino Tele Club‘.

Kitchen opens in the afternoon between 13.00 to 15.30 and between 20.00 and 23.00 for evening service.

The restaurant is closed all day on Mondays.
