The President on the Urban Entity, Neil Simpson, has provided owners an update on a project to replace street lighting bulbs to more energy efficient LED versions.

As a result of ongoing research into the issue of compatibility the Board of Presidents are now in discussion with Alhama Council to have a suitable alternative bulb produced in bulk before the existing sodium bulbs are no longer available.

Alhama Council are responsible for the street lighting outside the resort and are already working with suppliers to replace or upgrade street lighting throughout Alhama and the Condado de Alhama works will be added to that project.

Similar street lighting exists inside the resort so it’s important for owners that a solution is found and can be implemented.
