Percheles Beach in November
November continues to surprise with good weather, after a windy start, the sun has been out all week and yesterday was springlike, so much so, that a beach day was called for!
We headed down to Bolnuevo but the top road was closed as the icon was being brought down from Milagro for her stint in Mazarron before returning next week, to coincide with the Sardine festival on the 17th and a local holiday in Mazarron.
We ended up at the secret beach “Percheles” which looked even more Caribbean than usual, super quiet, just a few German motor-homers, the bar sadly gone for the season, just glorious empty sand and clear water. We sat and enjoyed the sun and sea for a while and enjoyed some seasonal “elevenses” of mince pies and the national favourite of cola cao!
Winter hours start at the Spar on site next Sunday, back to 9am until 3pm, an hour on from previous years closing of 2pm, also Big G’s American Diner looks to be only open for breakfasts over the winter, always a great treat to scuttle over in the wet mornings for a takeout breakfast bun!
Blowing a gale here this morning, but with clear skies and another good day is in prospect, have a good week wherever you may be!
